Search everywhere only in this topic. I do not get any javascript error on IE. Works perfect on firefox.

Do i need to have some work around for it to work in IE? Add items dynamically to select box.

I can confirm that this appears to be a problem, if loaded in FF this JSFiddle adds the relevant row on button click, but in IE7, IE8, IE9 dojo select add option dynamically Chrome v14 it adds an "empty" row. Simon Lawrence - UK based Java application developer specialising in web services.

So, something like this: In the browsers it didn't work in, innerHTML is set but label is not, and so the Select adds an option with a blank display value when it checks the properties of the object passed to addOption.

The reason srlawr's approach might work is simply because he's setting the label attribute directly.
