I loved working as an assitant manager for Avon.

I got to work from home, choose my hours, and make new connections with customers and reps along the way. Consuming but satisfying is you can work under pressure. In a typical day you would recruit independent sales representatives. To do this you had to get out into the field with cold calling or setting up special events. Your district becomes your baby and you put in more hours than you can imagine because you want the best for your baby.

As a manager you hold monthly sales meetings and weekly training meetings so that your representatives are up to date on product knowledge and can sell the products. The workplace culture is good because you do have some flexibility in making your own schedule. The hardest part of the job is the extreme pressure to meet your KPI's. The best part was being able to make your own schedule and meeting new people. Self-employed Avon product sales and delivery. This is a very flexible job where you can enjoy your own schedule.

I find that you spend most of what you earn on products. Their products sell themselves. Customers are usually good about paying. There is just no money in this as a side job.

My experience with avon was partial. It was great to be able to get out and meet new people, as well as, create my own website and business cards.

It was also a great opportunity to learn more about customer service. However, it did begin to become time consuming at all hours of the day and it was hard with a small child.

You get what you put into it.

I love dealing with my costumers and answering their questions about certain products that their looking into and I would give them my honest opinion about it. They would end buying or not buying it depends if they want to get it on sale or pay regular price. I love it and I get to set my own schedule when I work with avon.

Being able to be your own boss. Avon is a great company to work for. At Avon you are able to be your own boss and set your own work hours. Avon also gives employee discounts when you reach you sale goals. I love beauty, so it's perfect for me.

Being a Cosmetologist, it allows me to stay in my field without being behind the chair anymore.

It's fun learning about new products. Instead of me buying products from someone else, I can buy them from myself. Learning about new products. Always learning about new products. New products coming out all the time.

So far have enjoyed the products that have come out.

They provide great benefits and a real opportunity to ear commission. Working in this company allows you to meet many interesting people. Opportunity to change lives. Must have an independent can-do work ethic. Workplace culture ultimately depends on you.

You get to preview new products and be in the know. There are loyal customers to Avon but are not very reliable with payments. You have to be charged for your order and some of the customers will not pay until they receive their order which is difficult especially if you do not have the funds.

I had to work by myself knocking on doors selling products and I was doing that and not making that much Money so I quit that job plus I was getting tired of working by myself and I hate staying and knocking on doors.

Very fun and learning oppertunity. Meeting customers taking orders, taking payments, enjoying their company. I have learned about different fragrances, shades how to apply makeup etc. Management is good to work for. The best part is meeting people and getting to know them. The most enjoyable part of the job is selling product that I believe in.

I use Avon and really like there products. Also, I enjoy setting my own hours. The experience being a sales representative.

The job as a sales representative is to have the knowledge and experience to give out books to the customers. Basically it is a door to door sales job with commission.

The main focus is to draw customers to order and buy the products that they are satisfied with. Great work place, great coworkers loved the place, it was just too far.

Avon is a great place to work. But i came in through a temp agency. You can pick you own shift, 1st 2nd or 3rd. Work on your own time.

As a parent I am able to earn extra income, while spending time with my children.

I also like that I can work at anytime and set my own schedule. Pass out brochures gain clients call clients, take orders, place order to supervisor, pack orders, deliver orders.
