He went to phishing link and got hacked. Don't fall for obivious scams people! If you search Youtube "I quit osrs sparc mac" there should be video posted 4 days ago by fake Sparc. It's not a very good one, but it's the best one I could find.

It's not about that, it's seeing the name and the icon so your instinct to be careful is weakened, and with a quick glance the link looks safe. If you fall for the most obvious scams and phishing attempts and you dont know how to check out and read a link, which is very easy to do hell, even some browsers help out and highlight the actual link like Chrome and Firefox when it's entered then you're not ready to be on the internet and should accept the consequences that comes with it if you can't keep yourself secured.

If you're too dumb to check the second trade screen or think entering in your account info on some shady runescape related website is a good idea, you deserve to get scammed. In many cases the "victims" are people who download things, click on links etc because they want a bot, want to enter a givaway or are trying to anti-lure. Either this is too meta for me, or asking a circle jerk to stop, effectively ceasing the discussion, is not the same as circle jerking against another circle jerk.

With that said, my OSB login is not the same as my RS login, and I would hope that others use a similar method to protect themselves, in addition to a bank pin. Of course, using OSB still sends your login info through their client, I could see them still being able to hack people, but I think they make more money off OSB Pro than they would trying to sell gold from a huge chunk of the player bases' accounts.

With over half of the playerbase gone, the game will be dead. The developers of OSBuddy make money because the game exists. If the game didn't exist, the OSBuddy guys wouldn't make any money.

OSBuddy devs are people. And it seems awfully sad that they are allowed to make money by selling an unfair advantage. I hope more people manage to crack the client to get free osbuddy pro like that one guy did.

I'm not talking about the morals of using OSBuddy. I'm just saying that unless the developers of OSBuddy want to becoke unemployed, it is in their best intrests to keep everyone's accounts safe. Sure, they could hack everyone, just like I could drop out of school. But in both cases, nothing will happen, because there is no incentive to do so, but every incentive not to money.

I remember that happening back in like P Some of these kid are like 12 yrs old, they dont know all this. Not saying it's not the lurers fault but people often get scammed because of greed. How is it a waste of time? Really spend some time on it.
